We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. There were ten of us on a Saturday for lunch. We were seated immediately by our waiter Maurice. He was friendly and attentive the whole time.nOur food arrived quickly, however two meals did not, so we were offered free deserts. The pretzels were suggested and they were great as a shareable appetizer.nOnly three of us had actual German dishes and they were very good. The bakery served amazing deserts.

My brother got married last weekend and we went to The Village Corner for dinner after the ceremony. The staff was so accommodating! We were in a private room that was complete with beautiful, hand written name cards and the best wedding cake. Our server was absolutely awesome! She kept the champagne flowing and has the best personality! My brother and his new wife could not have been happier. I leave with way too much schnitzel and beer in my system every time, but I always look forward to going to The Village Corner during my trips from Pittsburgh. Thank you for always being the best. As always very pleased with the food and the service here. Baked goods are top notch. Brings me back to the German bakeries I knew as a kid. However we had purchased 4 cans of homemade brews. But when we got them home the cans were leaking from the seals of the crown of the cans. The inside of the bag was wet. The product inside was also flat.

Drove 2 hours just to have dinner here. It was definitely worth it. I love love their bread basket and butter! Misty was fabulous and went out of her way to make sure I was happy when an item I was really looking forward to wasnt on the dinner menu. She personally fixed it for me. That meant a lot!
