I have used this library for years. I’m a victim of Domestic Violence. I would have to sit to look at movies, and could not look up high, because of my neck problems, due to the beating. I went in the library on 6/6/19. One of the members of the family that had beaten me was at the library, just standing there gossiping, which I didn’t notice who was gossiping until I wanted to check out. Brittany and this person were gossiping for several minutes. I even walked to the counter to check out, Brittany was so busy gossiping she didn’t even notice me at counter. I eventually bumped my movie on the counter to get Brittany’s attention. The said person, who was in on the abuse, just glared at me. I ask her did she have anything to say, because she was looking at my things, looking at my personal info, and just kept glaring at me. The said person has put our family in a whole mountain of drama. When I was checking out, she did not walk away, turn around, nothing! When I left I made a phone call from my car, because I can’t call while driving. I’ve went in the library twice since then. Kim is usually nice, but on my last two visits, she was rude, short when speaking. I ask her today what’s the problem, because she was acting snotty. I found out the the DV person called the police to get an escort to her car. IM THE VICTIM IN THIS NIGHTMARE. The DV person called for an escort to her car to start drama or try and get me in some sort of trouble. Most likely she was drinking, she is an alcoholic.nMy problem was nobody ask my side of what happened. Brittany is friends with the alcoholic, so a lot of what happened that day was based on gossiping. Ask me what happened before you go all treating me like dirt. I’m a former police officer and I know when someone is trying to intimidate me. I no longer wish to go there. Kim acts like a snot! Always get both sides of the story before you look down your nose at people, Kim.
