This library may be small, but it is super impressive. They have done a good job at collection development and have been able to fit a lot of books in a small area.
They have a lot of great resources and services besides just books. They have done a lot to adapt to covid limitations -take home crafts and activities, at home story times, etc. I'm looking forward to when we can go to story time at the library again; I'm sure it will be excellent.
Everyone who works there has been kind, helpful and friendly; no matter when we've gone and who we've interacted with. We are always greeted when we come in. When we got our library card the librarian gave us a tour. When holds come in they call you personally (not just an automated message) to let you know.
They had great family activities before the pandemic. I Hope they do them again. This Library continues to stay updated. They did a recent remodel here

Great library and staff! They're amazing!
The city libraries are always my favorite place to grab (and thumb through) books I think I might want to buy on Amazon. We just recently moved to Payson & felt very welcomed by the staff & the well stocked (yet smaller) library with creaky floors and quaint little reading nooks. We’ve had success finding keepers at every visit & love the large video selection too. Thanks Payson library...💕
