Bought a Groupon for the French Wine Merchant. In the fine print it says “Merchant is the issuer of this voucher.” We called the French Wine Merchant to let them know we were coming to use the Groupon. They said they wouldn’t accept it and “don’t know anything about that.” So basically, they are getting the benefit of getting paid and placing ads on Groupon, but then do not honor the deals and store credit. Totally dishonest and a waste of $74.00. Stay away.
Great atmosphere!! Every time I come is an excellent experience! You can’t get a better wine expert than Maurice who is French himself and proves the years of expertise he has on the industry with his wine selections. Lovely courtyard too very romantic :)
My friends and I love visiting the french wine merchant shop! The wine tastings are fun and relaxing , and the atmosphere is warm and sociable. I've enjoyed every wine that Maurice has recommended me. Definitely a great experience!
Excellent little wine shop. The selection is unsurprisingly made up mostly of French wines. Maurice and Laetitia are both very kind, knowledgeable, and willing to take their time with you as you look for wine. I hope to learn more from them and continue to shop here for years to come.
I went to a wine merchant has a fun wine tasting every Friday! I went to the wine tasting and found several wines I loved. Ended up purchasing 3! It was a great event!
