Best pharmacy! I always have a million questions and they are so kind to take the time to answer them all! I refuse to go anywhere else and love all of the staff they are just the best!

It's so nice to have a Pharmacy in Salem when you need somewhere close. The people are always nice. My only complaint is that they close early and sometimes their prices are more expensive than other pharmacies.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PRESCRIPTION HERE!! I took an RX for a compound medication to this pharmacy as a new customer. I was assured it was one they could make and that they would call the next day before mixing it to let me know the cost. Five days later I called them to see why they hadn't called me about the prescription. They told that the cost was going to be $120 but that they were looking into different variations and ingredients to find something that would be more affordable. I get a call a couple days later saying they had a formula that would cost $40. That seems pretty nice of them to take that effort to find me something that would work, right? Well after asking more questions during this call, I come to find out they didn't even try running a claim through my insurance on the original or new formula to find out if insurance might pay some or all of the cost. So I ask for them to run a test claim on the original compound with my insurance. The compounding tech said she did right then and that it came back as denied. So I asked her to hold off on doing anything for now so I could talk to my insurance company. Now I am more intimately knowledgeable about how to get my insurance companies cooperation than I should be, so I call the insurance company to find out why they don't want to cover it and what they need to be able to cover it. They provide this information based on the test claim. A couple days later after having some conversations with my drs office, I call the insurance company in order to get some paperwork and the representative tells me there isn't any claims or test claims for the original compound medication in their system but there are claims for some of the ingredients. So I have the insurance representative stay on the line with me while I call this pharmacy to have them run a new test claim. The pharmacy tech who answered the phone that day told me they had not run any test claims on the original compound because they didn't have all the ingredients necessary for the compound all this time and that i had been told that from the beginning. I became obviously frustrated with the situation, asked the insurance rep to hang up, and asked some questions of the pharmacy tech. She affirmed what she had already said and kept insisting that I was told they didn't have the ingredients from the beginning. I didn't yell or scream or curse, but I'm sure she could hear the frustration. I asked to talk to the manager and the tech told me the owners daughter ( who is also the compounding tech) was in and would be the closest thing to a manager i could talk to. I waited on hold for awhile to speak and when the compound tech ( owners daughter) got on the line she launched into an attack on how this was my fault, she attacked me for overreacting to being told it was a medication they could have never have made, she got into how I should have asked more questions before becoming frustrated, she was extremely rude and mean to me as the customer and when I confronted her on how rude she was being to a customer she paid no attention and continued to be rude. In this tirade of hers, I found out some maybe useful information about when they had the ingredients at first but had run out and couldn't order more for now which if true, is an explanation that makes some sense, but still begs the question of why not let me know that my RX can't be filled. Overall this was one the worst experiences I have had with a pharmacy and I have dealt with a lot of pharmacies over the years due to many chronic diseases.

Very disappointed in this pharmacy. My daughters prescription has to be compounded every 14 days. They started a $20 extra fee to have it done the same day, but they won't automatically fill it every 14 days or call when the prescription is done. not very convenient. I called on Friday morning for the medication and needed it by Saturday night, they charged me the "$20 rush fee". As if the prescription isn't expensive enough. Although the staff is very friendly the policy is dumb with no exceptions.

I love having this pharmacy in our community. I've moved all of our prescriptions over to them. They do a great job of working withy doctor's office to make sure I am getting the best products and the best value. Their customer service is great. I know I pay a little more than some of the "fast food" style pharmacies, but having them watching out for and taking care of my family's health is worth it.
