Advanced Health Care of Salem

I would not recommend sending anyone here. Any time there was a problem all I ever heard was "That is not our fault." And, "We don't have any control over that." The upper management never takes care of any of the problems. Find ANOTHER place to send your loved ones!

Beautiful facility w/ kind and caring staff that provides a nice place to recover. As a place for rehabilitation, therapy is central to the experience. The food, environment, and easy access off of freeway make it easy and comfortable for friends and family to visit. Highly recommended!

If you need physical rehab and cant quite make it at home this is the place to be. Getting better faster was my goal and they certainly met that goal

Recently, I had an extraordinary opportunity once again to spend time as a resident at Advanced Health Care of Salem after my second Knee replacement surgery. I would like to share my insights into this Five Star Facility, and all those who work there as Administrators, amazingly gifted and talented Nursing Core along with Physical and Occupational Therapists, with one multi-talented, multi-tasking Therapy Aid / Transportation Specialist extraordinaire. Each are specially suited for the tasks to which they are well trained for, and they carry out each duty with a professionalism that have earned them a Five Star Rating! I found this facility to be a warm safe environment to which I could heal both body and soul...I'll always be grateful for the time I spent there because of my interactions with each professional who work there! They helped me to once again understand that it is in our interconnectiveness with one another that makes life rich and meaningful! I'll always be grateful for this insight into human relations and interactions... These Men and Women who are highly trained with specific skill sets to work with individuals who come to this facility, who are either Post-Stroke, to Joint Replacements to those with physically limiting mobility issues. I have watched closely each of the many Nurses and Therapists that have worked with such residents, and I can honestly say that I have never seen a more dedicated group of men and women who show a real interest in seeing each individual succeed in their recovery! With great empathy and compassion, I've witnessed these extraordinary men and women as they assist each resident, one by one, feel and see a sense of accomplishment with any sign of improvement! I've also seen them morn over the lack of progress of someone who is really struggling, BUT THEY NEVER GIVE UP! They keep working with such individuals with a positive attitude, always greeting them with a big smile and encouraging words of what progress each have already accomplished!...They really do care very much for those under their care! There are none better than this group, including all those who come from a sister facility to render the same kind of professional care, understanding. They jump right in to work with each resident with such respect and dignity, coupled with empathy towards all those they work with! Truly, there are in a class above the rest! There are none better than this entire group! When it comes to nutrition, there's no one better than the Chef's who are in charge of preparing delicious meals in the Dinning Room. They make sure that the food prepared is not only nourish both body and soul, but delightful to the taste buds! Their menus are varied in the many dishes they prepare and serve, and at times I felt as if I was dinning in a Five Star Restaurant. The ambiance is warm and inviting, that is what you would expect to find in such a place! They also have on staff an Housekeeping crew who have the ability of disinfecting any previous occupied rooms and they keep the rest of the faculty clean and orderly, while conversing in hushed tones that convey real interest in their duties and in the welfare of each resident! All in all, this facility, Advanced Health Care of Salem, and each individual who works there, deserves my upmost respect. I do not hesitate in giving them top rating among all the facilities I have visited over the years! They deserve the Five Star rating I've given them! Advanced Health Care Center is adjacent to Revere Health in Salem, and is accessible by taking the off ramp at the Benjamin Exit of I-15 Southbound Terry D. Underwood
