Sandra was beyond helpful with us. She was very attentive and super kind. Amazing customer service experience. The store had so much variety and there is definitely a book for everyone. A must visit.
A homey ambience immediately greets you as you step in. The cozy bookstore is packed with books and customers milling about. The store was a bit disorienting at first in terms of layout, but the signs helped me navigate around eventually. I also appreciate the staff pick label beneath books because I often don't know what new fiction to read.
Service Dog friendly and also my favourite comic shop in the city. It's generally pretty relaxed and quiet. Their selection is pretty good, not the best selection in the city but not lacking by any means. I usually always find what I'm looking for here, and the employees never seem to have a problem looking anything up for me, they're always very pleasant and friendly. They've offered to preorder things for me when they haven't come in stock yet.
You can just feel the history of the place seeping out of the woodwork. It might not be some library that's been around for centuries, but even in it's few decades of existence, a lot of influential writers have browsed these same bookshelves, just with different books in their time. And many of their works are now on those shelves today.
Flagship store of the iconic German publishing company. Taschen is a company with more than 40 years of experience on publishing books that are authentic jewels. The title selection, the cured content and the production transpire quality and attention to the detail. Definitely worth spending time!
