Drove out of Atlanta. Quit returned truck to Atlanta where I was dispatched to. ABCO charged me 750 recovery charge even though they dispatched me to Atlanta where I went. If you are thinking of working here think twice. They also never want to send you home for home time even though you scheduled it 3 weeks prior. They care nothing about the driver or there family.EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE OWNED BY R&L CARRIERS THEY are no R&L. Yes they will give you 50 cents a mile. But what good is that when you only get 1200 to 1500 miles a week. Sorry company....
I can't say enough good things about ABCO transportation, I have recently started driving for them and it is an awesome place to work! If you're thinking about a job with them give them a call and look up their resorts!
I've been in and around trucking for over 40 years and I can tell you that ABCO is the Gold Standard. Experienced, safe drivers, new and well maintained equipment and an operations team that is friendly, focused and communicative. Management cares about the drivers, operations staff and business partners. Nothing negative to say, great company.
So far It’s been a great experience. Tania in recruiting made the process of switching companies extremely easy and no stress. I have met some amazing people so far. I just started with this company but look forward to the months to come. Great starting pay and very nice trucks!!
Company is small with some of the best equipment in the industry. Recruiters, FM, & dispatchers are very helpful & respectful. My reason for giving three star is due to low pay & low miles, if they would up the pay & miles I'll end up retiring here. I honestly don't think any driver should be OTR without 1200 net a week, especially when you're only accepting driver's with 2+yrs experience. I am a CURRENT driver & this is just based off my experience NOT reviews or hear say.
