All around experience with everything you need for a great weekend. Touring the animal sanctuary and/or leasing Llamas are def the best options in the area. Staff Is super duper friendly and accommodating with all of our questions. It was so much fun ...and that buffet: yummy ! We are most def coming back.

Apparently they offer a variety of services, I can only speak to the pack llama leasing service their website advertises. Several weeks before a trip we had planned, I spoke to them over the phone about our trip and was told that pack llamas were a viable option. As the time of the trip came nearer and I attempted to finalize the leasing of the llamas, it became more and more complicated. I'm not sure why they are in the business of leasing their llamas because it felt like I was trying to persuade them to hand over their first born child. We had already made plans to have the llamas so I persisted. As each detail of our trip was discussed I was told "these are not pack animals, they are gentle creatures". Everything we had planned was unacceptable for their "invaluable" llamas. We continued to try and bend over backwards to modify our original plans to accommodate the needs of the llamas until they finally canceled on us the day before the trip because "they were filming a movie that day". I want to make it clear that I have no problem with them taking extreme care of their llamas, they have every right to do so. The frustrating part of the experience was that none of these extremely high expectations were made clear until days before we were ready to leave, and our assumptions about "pack llamas" being able to pack things in the back country were clearly erroneous. The website simply advertises that, "We have experienced packers for lease!" We ended up carrying all our gear ourselves and wished we had tried to coordinate something with a different provider even though they would've been less conveniently located. I'm sure they are a great option if you have prior experience with llamas, are familiar with their limitations and have a very mild trip planned. It was probably naive of us to assume this was a good option to get first time experience with pack llamas, which is what we were hoping for.

Great food, but we had our toddler and it was not toddler friendly. So we left quickly. It's not that anything was wrong with the Krishna Temple it's just our daughter is a really finicky and fussy toddler so it was just a bad situation for us. I do recommend people come enjoy this absolutely GORGEOUS temple grounds. You can feel the spirit here. It's magnificent and peaceful.
