I’m only giving this place a 1 star because of an extremely rude, condescending, disrespectful triage nurse I encountered 30 min ago. As a parent who has been in the hospital for a week with a sick child, that was the last thing I needed. She was rude and barely let me get my word out. I don’t know her name , but she worked on April 11, 2021 at 7 pm , wearing green scrub pants, and looked unkempt. She needs to learn professionalism.
I took my son here for the first 18 months of his life. I had great experiences every time and all I can say is that I highly recommend Dr. Sriraman. She is absolutely wonderful and I am so happy that she became his PCM. We actually had one of her colleagues as the designated PCM, but were accidentally scheduled with Sriraman. Best mistake to ever happen because we were introduced to one of the best pediatricians in Virginia. Thank you and we will miss your service.
My son went into the Children Emergency Room the other night with chest pains and not being able fo breath. He has had asthma and upper resipitory problems when he is,sick. The staff prior to the doctor was excellent. However, The doctor was,very rude to him and just told him he was having a panic attack and did not do anything for him. He was not having a panic and he has been coughing uncontrollable. He had to go into a different Emergency Room. Maybe the doctor was having a bad night but unfortunately she did nothing to help the issue.
I can't say enough good things about this hospital! My baby was born early at 26 weeks and the staff of the NICU took such good care of him and made us feel like family! So thankful for these wonderful people and their support!
CHKD is the worst place to work or get service.
