Weirdly slow and disorganized service. We waited 10 minutes to have our drink order taken and didn’t get silverware until we asked. The scrambled eggs were over cooked and probably came out of a carton. The bacon was flabby with an artificial and overwhelming smoky flavor. The toast was dry as cold and we had to ask for butter and jam. The potatoes were pretty good. Expensive and disappointing overall.
My Thoughts on this (01/16/2021)
Very disappointed. There was a Prime Rib Special I didn't hear about until I heard another server talking to a table. When I mentioned it to my server she told me it was on the board out front, with just a touch of attitude. It may have been but aren't you supposed to tell me? Food came cold. It tasted great but would have been better warm. Not worth the 45.00 bill. Worst New Years Eve I have ever had. Before I went, I thought I'd treat myself. After I left, I realized I mistreated myself.

French toast was awesome but it does have some odd hours and occupancy levels.

Do not go there unless you plan on spending your whole day waiting. We were on vacation with the kids. Wanted to grab a quiet cup of coffee with my husband before trecking through town with the family:nFirst we were told there was a 10min wait. After about 20 min we had them change our reservation to takeout. We get a $25 credit per day to use there, so we order 2 coffees and 2 cups of oatmeal (total of $28!!???) There's another 20 min wait for that. So we get the kids from the room to get ready to hit town, only we wait for another 20 min to get our order. When I picked up the food container it felt wet on the bottom. Why?? They poured the oatmeal right in the bottom of a paper takeout container - the kind you would put fries in. The whole thing looked more like dog food than a $28 dollar breakfast. Ended up returning the order, had the waiter refund the price. Will never come back here! We wasted almost 2 hrs on nothing! Giving one star only because they were polite.

I was quite surprised at how tasty my breakfast was! For all those staying at the Williamsburg Lodge I highly recommend catching a quick morning repast before checking the sites.
