The employees try their best but could probably use a break. The best thing about the restaurant was the cackling lady on the other side of the room that made us laugh every time she guffawed. Sadly, the pub burgers are precooked. Chef Ramsey would be disgusted, as was my eating partner. My Melissa sandwich was decent but would have been more palatable with green lettuce instead of iceberg. I may be little but I'm a grown up and kinda prefer food to nourish me. The fries were pretty good. What the martini lacked in presentation, was made up for in alcohol content.. so we would come back to listen to a band and maybe drink. We did go to Craft 31 afterwards and had several drinks and wings and a very good night. ud83dudc4dud83cudffb

Clam chowder was very good. Also had the Dorsey Green(all veggie) sandwich which was excellent as well. Definitely will return when in the area.

Per their sign Cogan's opens at 11, but the door had to be unlocked for us and the other patrons waiting, when we arrived at 11:25.nThe woman who took our order complained about her mask making her nose run (not great convo for a food service employee during a pandemic)! We were assured anything we did not care for on our sandwich could be left off. We both ordered our sandwiches without something on them. Both came out wrong. My friend's had tomatoes which she asked to be left off. Mine had bacon, which I requested be left off. Our order was even repeated to us as it was input into the computer... I took my sandwich back to have a new one made as the bacon was chopped and not easily removed. It was returned to me a few minutes later, having had the bacon simply picked off. I still found pieces of bacon on it (see pics), and I was very disappointed that was the resolution. I suspected that might happen.nAs a medical professional, I certainly hope they don't do this with a food someone could have anaphylaxis from simply by contact. I enjoy their food, but I wouldn't want it as my last meal!nNo one asked how our food was, which was no surprise as I'm sure they saw me picking bacon off. Disappointed and not sure we will ever return.

Good food, they do follow covid protocols. They do have a bar, but I was on lunch. ☹

My husband & I had lunch here. He got the Full Monte & I got the Melissa with the Mediterranean pasta salad. All the were amazing! We dinned in. We almost missed out but the Greek restaurant was only serving take out. So so glad we found Cohan's! Highly recommend!!!! If your near Town Center in Williamsburg so by, you won't be sorry!!!!
