Muscarelle Museum of Art

A hidden gem! Parking is a little confusing, but it's worth it. The museum is small, but their exhibitions are impressive. Been here twice now, first time was 2 years ago for the Botticelli Exhibition. I can't wait for the upcoming ones!!

This was a wonderful museum for me to have access to when I was a WM student. I remember many years ago (perhaps 2010?) they had a special exhibit featuring a photographer that showed women’s nude bodies of all shapes, sizes, ages, and experiences to celebrate these differences and demonstrate the natural beauty of all women. It was particularly beautiful and memorable for me.

William and Mary's little secret. I am one of the lucky students to know about this place since my freshman year! Worth every visit, often times has special collections come for a while.

World class museum and especially good when they host special collections. Free parking by asking for a parking pass at the reception desk. Will soon close for 2 years for rebuilding a much larger facility. I believe that exhibits will be available during the construction at a different venue. I love this place.
