Knight Arena

This arena is an unique place to place to play basketball and volleyball. For basketball, it is a shooters gym. The walls and ceiling are very close and provides a great back drop during the games. The floor could use an upgrade and I believe the university is working on raising money to do so.nVolleyball, on the other hand, this setting does create difficulties for the visiting teams. The low ceiling is in play and teams are not used to it. The crowd chants “Welcome to the Barn” when an opposing team hit the ceiling and cannot make a play.nLastly, in a space is small, so when there is a large crowd the noise is almost deafening.

Worst experience in a college sports venue. After declaring that good sportsmanship would be expected all around, the announcer proceeded to mock the visiting team throughout the game. Very disappointing.

Great school and sports program.
