First time trying pho and nope I didn’t know how to pronounce it correctly! Lol thanks to the cashier who didn’t laugh at me..nI just got a great meal for only $10: taro boba tea and the shaved steak house special. It was PLENTY of food. The boba tea was excellent; not iced down too much and not too sweet!nI also appreciated the eco-friendly to-go containers.

The pho here is their specialty and it's so good. They have other foods as vell and vegan options. Try their Boba tea its the best.

This was my first time here since the name change from Snapdragon to Laughing Bird and my second time overall. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often, because the Pho is delicious. Tonight I went with the House Special which contains steak, shank, tendon, brisket and sliced meatball, and my date had the meatless pho with a veggie broth, which I sampled and was knocked out by - phenomenal. (Less phenomenal as it cools, I discovered, though.) The only bone I can truly pick with Laughing Bird is the communal water dispenser still being used in the midst of the current pandemic.

I seriously can’t get enough of this place. It took me a while to figure out what combination of meat and hot sauce I loved in the pho but once I did, WOW. I always order the pulled shank (super tender) with the beef broth and add hot sauce to it which appears to be some kind of chili paste. Top it with bean sprouts and thinly sliced green pepper and it’s just amazing. Also do yourself a favor and order the banh mi sandwich with the brisket. I don’t know how they do it but it’s one of the best flavor combinations I’ve ever had in a sandwich! Highly recommend!
