Incredibly friendly staff went above and beyond to get me what I was looking for. They even let me restart my order to mix just the right ingredients together, and it came out fantastic! (They also got gender-neutral bathrooms, which is a nice plus)

I went to The Split Banana and picked up a few pints of gelato given we'd be staying in Staunton for a few days. Everything is so good! We tried hazelnut, toasted almond, and the Highland maple because.. decisions were hard. They're very safe with social distancing, tables outside, hand sanitizer right where you come up to order, and everyone was friendly. It looks like it'd be a lovely place to sit inside as well when things get to that point. For now, will be happily (probably quickly) continuing to enjoy the pints. :)

Really cool atmosphere. The gelato had a lot of different flavors and they were amazing.

I love this place . We drive half an hour to go there .very friendly people. Perfectly ice-cream.

Split banana has the best local ice cream and many different flavors. They make their waffle cones on site and list the main ingredients in their ice creams.
