I worked here several years ago. David wants to be a nice guy but promises things to people and then decides he won’t get enough personal gain and doesn’t follow through. His business is horribly mismanaged. The turnover is atrocious. In the 6 months before I started and the year I worked there, he went through at least 7 employees several of whom walked out with no notice. He only employs 3 people. He is extremely disorganized, clueless, and in some cases very unethical. One person called every day multiple times a day for the entire year trying to get David to finish his taxes or give them back and David would not return their calls. The high turnover causes rampant mistakes. I am not a disgruntled employee. I am a confident professional who has worked at her current position over 5 years. I am simply tired of bad customer service and have decided to do some reviews to warn the innocent. David was the epitome of a poorly managed business with bad customer service.

I am a small business owner and have worked with this firm since the first day I opened. Professional, helpful and always timely in preparing my returns and filings. I recommend Trainum and Smith, PC to anyone looking for CPA services.

My significant other is a local BLACK small business owner. David Trainum took SEVERAL months to complete his taxes for at least two years in a row. The most recent year he did not complete accurately (after taking multiple months to complete them)and submitted them electronically without his consent, We had to have them reprocessed by H&R Block. When he went to Mr. Trainum to inquire about the issues he never got back to us.
