Visited the Uptown Coffee Cafe today and as usual they were spot on. Instead of getting the Southern Reuben I askedthem to do it as a hot pastrami and Swiss with mustard. Fantastic! Great service and music selection today was relaxed. Definitely my favorite coffee house. Note, they got a new ice cream case and will start scooping next week.

Im traveling from Louisiana and stopped into the Uptown Coffee Cafe. The location is ideal. The service is outstanding. I recommend the power breakfast sandwich. The serving portion makes for a solid morning sandwich. Dining outside option is available as well.

Gotta drop my review score. Not sure why the new owner thought it would be a good idea to mess with the consistently great food and service. Since they were bought out the quality of lunch has plummeted from the best philly-chicken sub I've had and didn't mind paying up for to something I wouldn't pay $5 for. On top of that in the 3 years of ordering food before the new owner there were 0 mistakes made on orders. In the few months since the switch I've had 3 orders wrong. Ill give 4 stars because the breakfast sandwiches and coffee are still good and the staff is very friendly but overall since the change it has been worse. Oh, also why change the vibe from relaxing coffee house to in your face and loud by painting that book shelf red? It just screams at you the whole time you're in there. Also going to miss sitting at the bar top at the window and just enjoying the view of town now that there is worn down looking booths in that section. Overall just a decline in quality in food and experience since the sale.

A really fun local coffee shop. The coffee was great and their baked goodies were delicious.
