You will be hard pressed to find a better pastry chef than Melissa. Every day she has something different. Delicious cannot even begin to describe her creations. If I could give her 6 stars I would.
The service was lovely and the sweets were tasty. We got a flourless chocolate cake and a praline cheesecake and they were both delicious, moist, and creamy, had perfect texture, sweetness, and flavour. Since I got my treats toward the end of the day, I was very concerned they would be dried out from being on display all day, but they were not. The only two things you should be aware of for this place is that it is very small so you pretty much have to take your sweets to go, and you should not be expecting some super-fancy, extra-trendy, unique or extravagant desserts. These are lovely and simple renditions or classic sweets.
Excellent! Tried turtle cheesecake and carrot cake. Both were really great and reasonably priced. Staff was also kind and friendly.
The sweets we have been enjoying for years at Charley’s waterfront cafe at our fingertips! The best little sweet shop any town could hope for! With a large variety to choose from.
