UPDATE: I spoke to the owner after she replied to my initial review. She apologized for the inconvenience and stated they do have vegan collard greens and that it should have been conveyed but it wasn’t and she was sorry for that. She also stated that you can buy just the sandwich alone if you want and doesn’t know why that wasn’t given as an option either. I told her I understand that people have hard days and that sometimes it just doesn’t go well. I’m thankful she took the time to talk to me. That goes a long way! She also said she would comp a meal if I do decide to try their vegan options. Even if she didn’t do that, I have major respect for someone who follows up on the feedback. Hoping the next time I update this review, it’ll be five stars from getting to taste the food!nnPrevious ReviewnnI had a pretty bad experience at the food truck just now. I was excited to see that they have vegan options - that’s awesome! I ordered a vegan barbecue sandwich. The lady asked what what I wanted as a side. I asked for french fries. She stated that they were out which was fine with me, I just looked at other options. I then ordered green beans. She said that they have meat in them. She then stated that so did the baked beans and collard greens. The only other options were potato salad and mac & cheese. I stated that that was fine, that I just wanted the sandwich by itself. She told me I had to get a side and could not just get the sandwich. I asked her how I could if I was a vegan if they were all non-vegan options. She stated I could get the chicken sandwich that was vegan. I asked If I had to get a side with that as well and she said yes. Again I stated that none of the options were vegan so how do I have to get a side if I can’t eat it. She just said sorry. I was not able to eat anything there even though they are advertising that they have vegan food. It would’ve been a different story if I didn’t have to get a side. Please fix this because it ended up being a problem. I left and went somewhere else.

The Pitts food truck stopped by my neighborhood last night and I ordered 8 oz of pulled pork. The pork was tender, juicy, and they gave me three of their sauces on the side. I recommend the Blueberry BBQ sauce! Unique and flavorful.

Great Customer Service, Delicious Food (homemade potato salad, collard greens, and banana pudding), Fun Atmosphere; Good Drinks...enough said!

Very nice party setting, staff courteous and friendly a great place to mingle and have fun. The music is off the chain.

Fun, casual BBQ hangout. Great service and quantity of food is extremely fair compared to cost. Beef brisket is absolutely AMAZING ud83dude0bud83dude0b.
