Wilderness Road State Park

Awesome trails, great for running or jogging. Separate grill sights for outdoor fun and grilling. Play places for the kids and original log cabins from back in the day so you can see how they used to kick it back in the day.

Jeffrey in the visitor center was extremely helpful and courteous! He gave us all kinds of information and a history on the park. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely, we walked and viewed the structures and had a picnic lunch. We will definitely be going back, wonderful place.

This is a really interesting historical state park! Educational, and fun. We visited the recreated Revolutionary War-era fort, interacted with reeactors, and used the excellent picnic facilities. The park's backdrop are the high summits of the adjacent Cumberland Gap National Park.

Very nice State Park everyone should visit if they are in this location ... Only $ 5.00 on a trust system which is really nice !!! Also the gift shop when you go to pay has decently priced gifts I believe the second weekend of every month they have historical events in the park ... Please call to confirm the times and dates . I hope your family enjoys this state park as much as mine has !
