I asked if we could make an appointment for a marriage license. They said I can’t comenThere because I live in henrico. This is false. You can go anywhere in the state to obtain a marriage license. At least they won’t get my money. Like why give out misleading information? Do better.

The majority of the staff are helpful and polite. But there was an older lady in room 203 who was extremely aggressive and rude. There are other people who would love to have her job with government benefits, that would probably treat people better.

General staff professional, but saw more African-American defendants (& rulings against them) than preferred for my comfort level. “A ticket a day keeps the sergeant away.” Smell corruption in the courts, but know that justice/change will come provided you 1) stand your ground (“law” expects you to fight/appeal), 2) ?get the feds involved, 3) reach out and use all the help technology can offer this day and age :)

Clerks are amazingly nice if you are nice to them. Judges tend to be overly patient and explain everything to every defendant which does slow things down. Sheriff deputies are also friendly if you’re nice to them.nnPhones and headsets aren’t allowed inside! Also it feels like the ac is set to 57 so dress warmly.

The lady I dealt with in the marriage/ notary department was so busy with her personal conversation on the work phone she acted like me walking in there to ask questions was such a huge inconvenience to her. She asked what I needed and I just said I had some questions about getting married, I didn’t even ask my questions she just started telling me information that I suppose are FAQ’s? I barely said anything to her. I quickly just grabbed my papers and left even though I still had unanswered questions. She sure was back on that phone ASAP before I even left the room.
