My husband and I found Wave when we moved to Richmond after several months of visiting churches, and it just kept drawing us back. We've been a part of Wave now for 3 years, and we just really love the people in this church! We wanted a church that was diverse and energetic, with great worship, and Wave is all of that and more. People in our church genuinely love God and people and community, and are welcoming and passionate and fun!nHere you will find foodies, musicians, teachers, students, grandparents, babies (lots of those), sisters, brothers, single parents, business owners, people of different political persuasion, academic and racial background, age, gender, color, and so on. Are we perfect? Of course not! But we are real and there's always room for you.nWe're expecting our first child now, and I don't know how we would do it without the church and the amazing, encouraging, supportive moms and families we've met. Our kids church leaders are absolutely wonderful and creative! If you want a church that will welcome you just as you are, and challenge and inspire you to be all that God has called you to be, you should definitely swing by and visit. We'll save you a seat! ;)

Our family has been attending Wave Church for over 9 years. Initially we attended the Great Neck Rd and Seaboard Rd locations in Virginia Beach, then started attending the Richmond campus when we moved a few years ago. We have loved this church for many years now mostly because of the teaching that has GREATLY impacted our lives, marriage and business. In recent years however, I have come to deeply appreciate the impact that the children's ministry has on my little ones. Going to a church that they love as much as we do is invaluable. Lastly, the outreach that this church has on the local and global community is incredible (see church website for info). We have loved being able to be a part of a community of Christians that are so committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus.

I absolutely love this place! We knew we were home after the first visit. We were welcomed by warm loving people and it changed our outlook on church.

We absolutely LOVE this church! They are so friendly, and you will feel at home the second you enter the doors. Worship is fun, engaging, and truly heartfelt. Sermons are relevant and life-changing. Kids ministry is amazing!
