Been to Sugar and Salt several times now. Always fantastic. Just ordered a German chocolate cake and it was ALMOST to pretty to eat. It was a work of art and the best German chocolate cake I’ve eaten. Great bakery.
I was lucky enough to see my daughter in law present a custom made tart to my my daughter for their anniversary. Sugar and Salt went way above grade A customer service! The special treat ordained Scottish memorabilia which brought back great wedding memories. Thank you to all that were involved. Tears of happiness and joy were made today.

We stumbled across Sugar & Salt Bakery on the hunt for the Best Red Velvet Cake in Richmond. I’m happy to report, we found that cake! Not only was it the most delicious cake we have ever tasted... they went above and beyond to research our venue for our daughter’s birthday to match it perfectly. We found our new spot for specialty cakes and yummy pastries!!! Must try- you won’t regret it!
Found this place while looking for a local bakery when we were visiting from out of town. Ordered a custom Valentine’s Day tart for my gf as a surprise and it was INCREDIBLE. The fruit was fresh and delicious. I wish there was a location where we’re from!
