I would not recommend & I wouldn’t give one star however google makes you in order to post. My family member scheduled with Dr. McCoy for a onset of stroke like symptoms (patients has a history of TIA). Upon exam patient was told that she was “tense” and was given a muscle relaxer. Fast forward to the very next day she was transported by ambulance (from work) to Lewis Gale Montgomery and admitted for a stroke. Her current prognosis is not encouraging and could’ve been prevented if Dr. McCoy would’ve taken the time to order the appropriate diagnostic testing. It’s unfortunate that insurance dictates the quality of care by limiting policy holders to certain practices, especially small rural areas.
