Percival's Island Parking Lot

I park here because it is the best access to Percival's Island. Whenever I am in Lynchburg this is my go to walking spot.

Make sure to go to this parking lot location, NOT the Google listing for Percival's Island as this is the only way you can get onto the island itself.nnThis is a nice entry point for the walking path that goes through Lynchburg by the James River. The walk is a wide paved path that has a section that goes across an old railroad bridge. The section that goes through the island is fairly flat and shaded. There are mosquitos ud83eudd9f due to the nature of this park (by the water) so be aware of that.nnOverall this is a nice walking/jogging/biking path with some nice photo spots worth a visit.
