Carter's Store

I remember visiting this store as a child with my Papa when Calvin ran it. So many great memories there! It is fantastic to see it have so much life again! They've got an expanded menu but you can still get the bologna and hoop cheese! They carry scoop ice cream as well. There is often live music as well. It's just a great little store you have to check out if you're near the area!

Carter's Store is your friendly neighborhood family owned country store. They have homemade food, live music, serves ice cream, canoe, tube and Kayak renting. There is always something you can find their especially if you need to run around the corner to grab something last minute verses 20 minutes to town. The owners and employees are so kind and friendly. Check out the food if you get a chance.

Top notch store. My wife, my brother and I stopped there for something to eat on the way to Tri county Marina and they treated us like family the second we walked in the door. We didn't know much about the area or the store and they kindly filled us in on both. Amazing service, amazing food and amazing people. If I ever go that way again I'll make sure I stop by and say hello.
