Royal Oaks

We had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend at Royal Oaks! The owners were fantastic and friendly and the cabin was perfect. We look forward to returning again in 2021!

Clean cabins and great rates. 2nd stay here with pets.

He wants to charge for a service animal and even said I couldn't have my dog. Very rude told me find somewhere else I will be contacting someone to let them know of this it's illegal to refuse a service animal

My wife surprised me with an overnight stay here for my birthday in early February and it was just what I needed.nWe stayed in Cabin #5 and had a great time. The cabin is hooked up for heat and AC, is well appointed with 2 tidy bedrooms, closets and drawer space. Bathroom was well-lit, fully functional and even had a fan, which is something you no longer see in hotel rooms. Kitchenette was well stocked with utensils and pans, the living room had comfy seating with a fireplace and TV. (You can borrow a few DVDs when checking in if you like)nThe hot tub under the gazebo was a short walk from the front door and worked flawlessly, as did everything else. Firepit was outside along with a grill and everything was set up as if I had a guest coming to my personal cabin: fresh towels, wood for the fireplace and firepit, hot tub was hot and ready.nEverything was clean and tidy, I'm a picky guy and found nothing that bothered me even a little.nWe met the husband and wife who ran the place and they were super-nice people.nWe were only there one night and plan to return for a more extended stay.nMy wife had stayed in one of the chalets last year on a bride-tribe-trip and was just as pleased.nHighly recommended.

Great cabins and area. Nice little store. Limited tv/internet but they have a nice library of dvd/VHS to choose from and if you came for tv and internet you came for all the wrong reasons. Blue ridge parkway is just nearby and all the best views are super close
