Felt like I was family. Would highly recommend to another, especially first time visits.

I have been a below the knee amputee for 12 years and my visit today was by far the worst experience I have had with a prosthetist.I repeated myself several times today that the alignment and my socket was extremely uncomfortable and at one point was unable to walk when I reach the other end of the hallway. After several attempts to get the prosthetist to listen to me I gave up. I walked out with the prosthetic on my leg because the prosthetist talked so much it was hard to get a word in and I got left in the room for 30+ minutes several times on my seven hour visit today. I attempted to walk in the store a mile down the road and could not walk on it. I turned around return the prosthetic,the prosthetist refused to listen to me when I said the prosthetic did not fit properly so I left the office called to cancel my next appointment and rescheduled with another prosthetist.It is a hour and a half drive one way for me to the doctors office and was told I would be leaving with functional leg today.nnUpdate......10/29 I did receive a call and Doug and his staff in the Roanoke office made things right. Couldn’t be more happy with my experience today.

Excellent experience here. My new insoles were created perfectly and my technician was very professional. So glad they are close to the Waynesboro. Also, this organization works with the VA on orthotics. Great to be able to get this service via the VA without having to go all the way to Salem, VA.

I've been going to Virginia Prosthetics for fifteen years. The staff are very kind and caring. Their services gave me back mobility, and for that I am grateful.
