The Priest Wilderness Parking Area

Small parking lot so get there early. Enjoyed our hike and overnight stay at the The Priest Shelter. It’s a tough climb with over 3,000 feet of elevation gain. Be sure to bring plenty of water. There is a creek on the way up to obtain water but you will need to filter it.nnAlso enjoyed walking across the suspension bridge directly across the street.

Enough room for maybe 12-15 cars depending on the size and how they park. It's gravel but any car would be fine using it. I can see it getting full quickly during peak season, but maybe that prevents over use on the trails.

Well-maintained and well-travelled trailhead. Get there early on nice days to get a spot. Then get ready for a beautiful hike.

It can hold approximately upto 50 vehicles. It was full when we go there at about 11 AM. We were fortunate enough to find a spot. I would go early to find a spot without waiting.
