We were looking for somewhere to bring our brand new wrestler. This was not an easy thing to find. We were referred to Steel Valley. We work with Coach Todd, who has gone above and beyond to ensure our novice needs were met. He is patient and holds our kids accountable to their sessions. Being a business owner (with high expectations of athlete training) and parent of a kid new to organized sports and structure, Coach Todd eased my anxieties. He ensures that he works with the kids to not only learn the foundation of wrestling but common life skills such as waiting your turn and paying attention (which is no easy feat for training 5 and 6 year old boys!)
Dan and Coach YT are two of the most genuine individuals I've come across in my 31 years. Both my son (10) and daughter (8) train at Steel Valley Renegades. I've seen both their skills and confidence skyrocket since they've began training with Coach YT. If you are searching for a place that fosters a family first attitude all while pushing your wrestler to the next level; this is it!
