Good Brotha's Book Café

Before I could even step a foot into the door, I was greeted by the owner. He had a very inviting spirit that instantly made you feel at home. Phenomenal place. The venue is decorated in a way that honors the richness of the black culture. The music is amazing and the book selection is every book lover’s dream! They have an amazing kids section as well. I purchased scream books along with some coffee and one of their delicious red velvet cupcakes. The staff was very professional and had the best customer service!nThis business is much needed and much appreciated. I will be back again and again!

We LOVED the vibe and energy. We are so proud and happy that there's a safe space for Black culture, conversation, celebrating and honoring Black history, oppression, struggle, art, community, and beauty everyday. Incredible books. Wow, from Angela Davis to modern Black authors. Loved seeing so many Black people here but all are welcome to support and celebrate this beautiful new cultural hub in Harrisburg.

Okay, the vegan peach cobbler is ADDICTIVE! I'm hooked! The atmosphere and people are warm and friendly. I can't wait to visit again!

Stopped in to try some stuff. My strawberry shortcake pie was outstanding and my latte is delicious!nnI expect this place will be successful as word spreads. I KNOW I'll be back!

Good Brotha's is that cozy, welcoming place you want. The coffee is strong, seriously strong. It's a light roast, with flavor I haven't found since Seattle, or since Harrar Coffee in DC. It's the best coffee in Harrisburg. (I am happy we have so much good coffee in HBG).nnThe people at Good Brotha's are warm and wonderful. I'm going to go every day, for the love there is a great way to get started. There is a wide selection of books and people are wearing masks while they read, so you can plan some time to spend here.
