I purchased a high-end dryer that I thought would be worth it (Speed Queen). Turns out the sensor would not work consistently, so sometimes it would shut off as to be expected when the clothes were dry and other times it would run forever until I shut it off. The clothes would be steaming hot, but the drying sensor would not shut the dryer off. Manny's was great about trying to fix it and they could reproduce the problem, so they knew it was not user error. They talked with Speed Queen repair support on multiple occasions, replaced a part, and eventually swapped the dryer with another new Speed Queen. Unfortunately, the same problem occurred. At that point I contacted Manny's and let them know I didn't want a Speed Queen anymore (this was now several months after the initial purchase) since it was a fire hazard. Manny's was great. They got approval from Speed Queen to pick up the machine and gave me a full credit for the dryer with which I got an LG dryer...and thankfully the LG has been terrific. Despite the trouble with the Speed Queen, Manny's did everything they could to remedy the situation and were also responsive. I would certainly purchase from them again.
I don't usually write reviews but we were so impressed with Ben from Manny's!! He came right away, and jumped right in to find the problem with our leaking refrigerator/ freezer. He knew quickly what the problem was and fixed it in a neat and timely manner. We highly recommend them if you need any repairs!! We wish we bought the refrigerator from them! We will in the future!! Due to Covid, my entire transaction for this experience was online and over the phone and it was still seamless and painless and totally convenient. Each and every associate I called and spoke with was knowledgeable and polite and very helpful. You can tell they’ve been doing this a while. We were looking for a new dishwasher. The model I wanted was on back order (due to covid) but they were able to suggest comparable models that were in stock that even had better reviews than what I originally wanted to order. Because the model that the helpful sales woman suggested was in stock, it was at my house and installed by 2 very friendly gentlemen within a week. The new washer was installed, the old one was uninstalled and hauled away for a very reasonable price. They showed up exactly in their appointment timeframe and were finished in a couple hours (despite running into a few kinks that they discovered in the DIY plumbing work of the previous owner of our house but that’s neither here nor there.) Brownie points because they weren’t bothered at all by my very loud annoying dogs barking from the basement. I will definitely be going back here the next time we are in need of a new appliance. Love shopping local.
Manny’s is proving to be more interested in olive oil than the business that gave him the opportunity to create condiments.nOne month old washer has a $10 part malfunction and it’s been 4 weeks since repairman arrived and “didn’t have the part”. Called twice a week since and, well...nBeing ghosted.
We bought a 4 piece package for a renovation house. Stephanie the manager of the Leominster store was knowledgeable of her product. The appliance delivery men were awesome! Great service all the way around!
