Started seeing dr. Kalava after spinal surgery and had no problems. Was sent back to him a year later still in a lot of pain and was told due to being under 35 he would not treat me or recommend anything. Was pretty much told “oh well”. Went back a couple years later still in pain and was told he would start treatment after I went through a few months of physical therapy and then after therapy was told he did not remember saying that (even though my PCP had the paperwork saying he said this) and would not treat me. Recently was sent back due to shoulder damage (AC joint) and he said he would prescribe lidocaine patches and a specially made lotion. I am allergic to the adhesive in lidocaine patches but he didn’t care. Then heard from the company in NH who makes the lotion and there was 3 components in it I am allergic too that he didn’t bother paying attention to. Does not care about patients, he barely spends 5 minutes with you and obviously doesn’t read any of the forms they have you fill out.
