I love paper bags, they have so many uses. For instance you can cook an entire bacon and eggs breakfast over an open fire in one. Without the plastic bag ban they would be hard to get. After all plastic bags require 70 percent less energy to manufacture and consume 96 percent less water than what’s used to make paper bags. Once disposed, reusable bags take up to 9.3 percent more space than plastic bags in landfills. Standard reusable cotton grocery bags must be reused at least 131 times “to ensure that they have lower global warming potential than” a plastic bag used only once. The results are in: Bag bans and taxes don’t help to reduce waste, litter, or marine debris.

Went to vote! There was plenty of parking and only a couple other people there, so it was quick and easy. Go vote!
