Nikolas Michalacos, MD

Dr. Mich is of great character. Good young St. Nik;) I am not just honored, but privileged to have him as not just my primary care,..but my Husbands primary care as well. Dr. Michalacos has the most respectful mannerisms. Shari and Janice are really great message takers, as well as relaying what should be prioritized conveniently for some patients more then others to notify the Drs. as other patients may not need immediate attentions. They work well with the communities. 5 Stars is an understatement because they reach for where some are unable to extend. Thankyou for your time.

BE AWARE!nOne of the worst doctor you can see as he has below qualities,nn1. very ruden2. does not listen to what you are sayingn3. what kind of a hurry in he isn4. no manners - he directly throw the paper with next things/direction at me, not even handed in my hand.n5. lastly, they scheduled my scan appointment at their in-network facility, they dont care if its in patient's insurance network or not. when I asked to send that order to the facility which is next to my home and is also in network of my insurance, they simple refused!! what ???????nnNow , I am going to change primary care :)

Very disappointed with receptionist. Currently I’m a patient of Dr. Butlin but sadly she is retiring and is only available certain days during the summer for urgent care. I had been a patient of Dr. Michalacos in the past when I was in between doctors due to Dr. McLaughlin’s unexpected departure from her practice.nI called to make an appointment as a follow up from a recent eye appointment; my eye doctor requested additional testing for a potential medical issue. Instead of just telling me that Dr. Michalacos was not currently taking new patients, the receptionist interrupted me before I could explain the issue and tell her that I had been a patient in the past, she put me on hold so she could discuss my situation with other staff members and then returned to tell me, while chuckling, it’s not a good time because the doctor is going on vacation for 4 weeks and she doesn’t know what else she can say. Then she proceeds to tell me that there is no other doctor available to see me.nI could potentially have a serious medical condition, the last thing I want to hear is someone laughing at me and being completely unprofessional. I ended the conversation by telling her that I would just find another doctor and she tried to back track but unfortunately I was already upset and not willing to hear excuses. The way I see it, the receptionist staff are the first impression for the doctor they are representing and I don’t think my health is a joke. At least give me other options before completely shutting me down.

I have been a very long patient for many years with this group of Dr.s . First Doctor I had for up to 20 years was, Dr .Laura mcglaughlin and she was wonderful. After she retired I then. started seeing Dr. Nicholas Michalacas. I think Dr Michalacas is a very caring, pleasant, concientuous, smart Doctor who shows very good interest in my well being, as a Medical Physician!!! This is why I went back to him. I would highly recommend Dr. Nicolas Michalacas.
