An awesome place to view the various activities and behaviors of black bears, like watching them catch fish and even fighting over a catch! Plenty of bald eagles will swoop in on the scraps, and you might even see some otters swimming near the old sawmill. Abundant fishing all around as well, whether it be from shore or on a small charter. If you want to see wildlife but don’t want to rough it, this is a good option.

Great excursion, you'll see bears, eagles and maybe seals. Guides were great, the trail is raised so you can see the bears from above. There were lots of salmon in the water so eagles were everywhere, we saw one Bear who caught a salmon and hung around munching until after we'd left.nnThese folks are really good not to disturb the wildlife and the wooded area is pristine. I recommend this tour.

Of course Alaska is a great wilderness state. The rainforest was super. But only if you go there in the late spring and summer months. Too cold or too much rain other times.

Fun for all three generations of our family! Our guide, Redd, was informative and entertaining - pointing out seals, salmon, bald eagles souring through the trees and nearly EVERY type of banana slug. Easy stroll through an otherworldly forest with amazing beauty around every corner. Highly recommended for all ages. Pack a rain jacket and enjoy!

I went with a tour group... If on vacation, a cruise, it's typically in s group, oh but go and go alone with your walking buddy and just sink into the lusciousness on little trails. The one path goes easy and arrives at a small waterfall where salmon (in late August) worked to pole-vault the rushing water. After a while, a black bear lumbered with intention, swiped a salmon effortlessly, and with the morsel in mouth, lumbered back into the forest below.nA place to hang and watch National Geographic live! ud83dude09
