Blackfoot Library

This library has helped with with my oldest daughter. Even after she ripped 2 books let still let me check out books after I paid for them.

Staff is very helpful and kind. Gotta love the library!

The selections are excellent, the staff is knowledgeable. If you need something they don’t have they will order it or help you find it in nearby libraries.

Always pleased to go here. They are friendly and helpful.

I am very upset of the way this was handled.nnI've had an overdue book. Yes my bad for an overdue book. But, I for the life of me could not find it. I went on vacation and forgot about this book. The library called me maybe once a week about this book. I talked to them and explained that I am trying my best to find it and if I could purchase the book. They said I could not buy the book but pay the balance and see if I could find it. Ok I told her give me another few weeks to see if I can find it if not I will pay the balance and continue to look. Keep in mind I am a FT parent I'm not always home to look and search for a book. Well I think about two weeks later (today) they call me and left me a very stern message saying that if I do not return the book or figure out a way to pay of the balance I would get sent to collections and end up paying a lot more than what the balance is. I was very upset I was at work when I got this call so I called back and said I was not ok being told I was going to be sent to collections over a book that I've tried looking for it and the person who answered the call said she would have someone call me back. Have not heard back I will for sure pay my balance or try and find the book and look harder but the way that was handled and the voice that was used was not professional at all. I will definitely not be returning to this library.
