For a small town library it has an amazing collection of books. Story time is good and an amazing librarian is there to helpyoufind a book or order one. Computers available for use are functional.
I'm very happy with the Mackay free library & the staff also. Tina is always ready to help the patrons. My only complaint is the lack of discipline some of the parents fail to exercise on their kids. A library is supposed to be a place of quiet where you can concentrate & study. But parents nowadays don't know anything about discipline. It's quite obvious.
The lady that works here is really nice and we get free books so yeah
This is a great little Community Library. The Librarians are very helpful and friendly and they have great amenities including computers and Wi-Fi. They have a weekly reading hour for the kids too.
