Power County Historical Museum

A little history about this building. It was once the city/county hospital. In the 60's, it was known as the Great West Hotel. I actually lived here a couple times in the 60's when my parents managed the hotel and I attended A.F. high school - 50+ years ago.

This is a very interesting place to visit. We were there only to drop off an item to add to their collection that was used by a former Power County resident and his sisters. As a plea for assistance, the museum really needs some younger blood; the band of volunteers are getting up in years and have been volunteering for long time.
