Breakwater Expeditions

My dad, my brother, and I did a private 8 day trip in the Everglades with Angie. It was one of the best trips we have done as a family! Angie handled all the planning and ensured the entire trip went smoothly. We really just got to sit back and relax and enjoy the entire experience. The food was good, they had high quality gear, and they were able to customize the trip to accomodate all of our travel plans. I would highly recommend using Breakwater Expeditions for your private family trips! We will be coming back to them in the future.

Breakwater Expeditions was such an amazing experience not just the group dynamics but how much I gained from the trip as a whole. I didn’t realize how much I needed this experience and how much it helped me transition into college life! I was reminded of why I loved expeditions like this after wilderness therapy being a not so great experience. I also rediscovered pure happiness and figuring out what I define as ‘home’ after this past year defining it as being a final destination/goal. I have so much appreciation for Breakwater and will never forget all the memories I made this summer.

Todd and the Breakwater team put together an amazing 3 day backpacking trip in Yellowstone on short notice. Todd asked for our goals on the trip and designed the perfect itinerary for a physical challenge with two fairly inexperienced backpackers. Todd took care of every detail with some nice touches in pillows and wine! Would use them again for further adventure travel.

Such a positive and well put together trip in the San Juan Islands! Lars and Angie were amazing & fun guides. Would highly recommend using them for any outdoor guided experience!
