We had a great day of skiing there. Scenary was beautiful. Even the drive from Grand junction was beautiful. We had great french onion soup and Bloody Marys were really good. I wish the resort was larger and had at least one more high speed quad. But a great time!
Fun local mountain with good selection of intermediate and beginner trails. Snow coverage was sparse and trails on West End had lots of exposed rocks, be careful. With good smell area seems like it has tremendous potential but was not able to enjoy about half the mountain as it was closed in mid January due to lack of snow. Free parking and easy access, good for families and close to the Grand Junction area if you have other Aaron's or activities you need to accomplish in a weekend. Amazing cross country skiing at the top of the resort accessible by left or just down the road on top of the Grand Mesa.
No hassle reservations and a good covid system. Rental guys were helpful and the view is great.i hit a couple of ice patches and caught my back edge both times so be sure to check the snow conditions. Good advance pricing. 4 instead of 5 because snow wasn't as great as usual this time around.
Amazing views of the desert valleys below. For the price, Id have to say this is my favorite mountain in Colorado. Just keep up with the snow report and catch a good storm to enhance the experience.
After our first stay at the tiny home my husband and I wanted to bring our kids up too. We had a blast! The kids loved the loft bed, we love the location and the kitchen with a table! They got so cold after the sun went down but we were right there so they got in warm jammies while I made coco. After the kids went to sleep we stayed up to play a game. In a hotel you don't have that kind of space. We could have the lights on, the table to play on and our own drinks while they slept upstairs. The arrangement was dreamy.
