Motor Vehicle Division-Titles and Registration

I looked online to see if I needed an appointment at the DMV, no where on the website did it say it was required to make an appointment. I went in this morning at 9 o’clock there was no one in line and they were not busy and they still turned me away and said I should’ve looked on the Mesa County website instead of the state website.nLet’s be reasonable and not turn people away when you’re not busy!nThere was no one in the lobby, and there was no one in the waiting area inside!!

Had to transfer old plates to a new car. Went down expecting to wait in line. With COVID limitations, apparently it’s appointment only. I was offered a form to complete at home and either mail or return it since appointments were a few days out. Started to fill out the form. It was confusing and I messed up. Called to make an appointment and was offered to complete registration over the phone. The employee was friendly and took care of it all in just minutes. I was beyond impressed with the service. I’ve never had a bad experience here but this one stands out as being exceptionally great.

Nice having appointment times scheduled. If you remember to bring your proof of insurance inside with you, it would save more time. There are signs posted stated what is needed. A few fail to follow directions.

Quick and easy. In and out. I went to get my out of state car registered.
