Useless people. Sashi if ur not there to help people please quit your job. Obviously u don’t know how to do your job and you’re unreliable. U don’t ever answer your phone or reply on emails or any means of communication. U are useless!!!!

Friendly Staff, a good conducive environment to learning. Students help each other, and staff are often willing to go the extra mile to help you. Staff have varying levels of expertise.

Where do I begin? This review is only for the San Mateo campus. I got my nursing license three years ago from this school. I started up the San Mateo campus. Did the prereqs with Dr G who I must say is A WONDERFUL TEACHER. Finished my prereqs and started the core program. From the beginning there were things that were unorganized multiple staff in and out. Fast forward to clinicals there was favoritism shown with Gina don't recall her last name she overseen the clinical sites. There was favoritism with Mrs.Peterson overseen the clinical program(will update the names if I am wrong, husband was a fantastic teacher on this campus). Also there was favoritism with a terrible clinical instructor (Estacie) who showed favoritism on our clinical site in Oakland who was later fired. Now these reviews don't go into details but my review is very real. I was dropped from the program for instructors not reporting accurate information in regards to my performance and let back in but switched campuses. I traveled all the way from Sacramento to San Mateo everyday and worked hard and achieved the grades that I needed to pass the program and later switched to the Concord campus and it seemed like there was a big difference like night and day from San Mateo campus to Concord. I was very pleased with the instruction from the Concord campus I had amazing teachers that actually cared about my education and amazing financial staff. Nothing but good things to say about the Concord campus. I have been an LVN now for close to three and a half years. I also obtained my associate's at the Fresno and that campus has been amazing part of my education as well. As far as the San Mateo campus, that campus needs to be shut down. I went as far as reporting it to secondary schools site in Sacramento because of the conduct.

I would say that Gurnick Academy - San Mateo was, academically, one of the hardest things I've done in my life. I had to work hard to pass, much less to catch up. But it was a rewarding experience - not only because of how much I learned, but also because it felt great to do it.

I have had the pleasure of working with Gurnick and their students for over 4 years and can say it has been a wonderful experience. The MRI students sent to my facility for clinical training are professional, hard-working and team players. All my Technologists are Gurnick grads! A big thank you to Elena Danilova for building such a great relationship with me and my facility.
