As of March 4, 2021, this office is closed and customers are directed to conduct their business online or via telephone.nHowever you won't find that out until you've driven all the way there in the pouring rain and find yourself locked out without prior notice.nAnd that's why this place gets three stars.

With everything that's going on I understand that they could be closed one thing they could have done is update their times or let people know that they are closed, so that people are not wasting time driving to find out at the door at their closed. I was not the only person to arrive and become annoyed. Idk who runs it. Not everyone was laid off or furloughed, someone could have updated this.

I am greatest experience with that.

I have been to this location multiple times as it's the closest to my house.nnFinding a parking at this location is easy as they have a lot of parking spots.nnOne of my favorite reasons to come to this location is that they have a little coffee area outside of the front doors to the left. The lady there makes fresh coffee and snacks which is great when the Social Security Admin. has a little wait for your number to get called.nnThe employees, manager, and security guard are very helpful and friendly (which is usually hard to say for government employees).nnI will definitely be coming back to this place in the near future.nnThank you.

BEWARE of predatory parking policies! The old location featured adequate parking but this location has only 3 rows of parking spaces in the lot that fill immediately, even before opening time. The signage in neighboring parking lots is not highly visible! This is done intentionally to help you get your car towed and to earn money for the City of Chula Vista and the towing company with whom the city has contracted. DO NOT BECOME a VICTIM. This is a perfect money-making scheme that prays upon OLDER and PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED people that frequent the Social Security Office. The fact that appointment times are LONG at this location makes it especially easy for Chula Vista to extract dollars from the wallets of customers. Long appointments mean the towing company has all the time in the world to make off with people's vehicles. If you are towed from any of the neighboring lots the charge will be at least $255.00. You will be stranded without your vehicle and will have to find a way to retrieve it on your own, even if you are 80 years old and with limited mobility. ONCE again, DO NOT be a victim of this city revenue source. It is nothing short of organized crime.
