Parking is a bit step but does get you close to the beach. Try parking in the local neighborhood and walk just a bit and save $. Super clean beach and not a hobo in site!
Great place to visit before summer hits and everyone swarms the beaches. Bring your own hand soap and toilet paper as this place is not always stocked well. Don't forget to pay at the parking machine or you'll get a ticket, parking can be paid via credit card.
Clean beach very peaceful and not to crouded.
This is an awesome beach, been coming here for 20 years. $15 toll fee per use or $195 for a year - unlimited usage. Isolated relatively flat beach, great for long runs and walks, surfing (wide open) - 10 miles of amazing usage beach!
My favorite beach is San Diego! Been going here for years. It's a little out of the way, all the way at the end of Coronado, but even on busy days, its not too crowded. I'll certainly be back to Silver Strand again.
