First-off, I am a libraryphile. I've lived coast-to-coast, and I KNOW libraries from Colorado to LA to DC to NYC to Greenwich. I was in there recently, first time since it was my go-to library as a grade-school student back in the 1980s. I used to go there weekly. The Heatherdowns Branch has an extremely helpful staff. Customer service is top notch. They tracked-down a misplaced DVD set I was seeking. Four stars instead of five? Because: Where are the books?! All that expansion in real estate, but the collection is paltry. More than half the fun of a library is wandering through the stacks, discovering that gem. Computers are cool, but I want books at a library.
The woman at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful!
The librarians are friendly. Courteous. And try really hard to get an answer for the clients.
Nice quiet place clean
Great staff, decent selections. Sometimes noisy with kids. But kids will be kids
