Crittenden Fire Department

Absolutely ridiculous that you can have a house fire and are told the report will be ready Wednesday and you go there and they say the report is done all they are waiting on is a signature from the chief. Then I call on Thursday talk to the “chief” and explain the insurance is only waiting on this and he gets smart and says well we have 30 days. I mean really that’s absolutely ridiculous you are messing with people’s lives if you have a problem doing your job and serving the people get a new profession. Losing your home and all belongings is stressful enough than to be treated like this.

If there were a way I could give a negative rating I would. I had a mechanical valve replacement, which led to 2 strokes. I do have a disability because of my health issues. I was in the checkout at Wal-Mart. I was trying to use my USAA debit card. I had money in my account, but it kept saying I can't use it at this time. While this was going on, these Crittenden, and CGFD Fire Fighters were in line cussing and swearing at my. My Sister walked up to me to see what was going on. When she seen the way they were treating me she was so discussed with them. She tried to explain to them that I had a disability, but they did not care. Instead they kept cussing and swearing at us. I moved to the self checkout, and then they followed. My sister gave them a piece of her mind. They left about 15 min before we did, only for us to see them waiting for us in the parking lot. They where screaming at us, and threatening us. One was half hanging out the window with his phone trying to video us. They were obnoxious, rude, and threatening. Then the driver burned rubber, pulling out the lot. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought they were under the influence. I would NEVER had wanted my life in their hands. They knew I had a a disability, but even after my sister told them they still didn't care. They even called us retards. When you wear your jackets with your company's name on it, you are representing your Company. To where a Crittenden Firefighter, and a CGFD Jacket, you represent your Station. You're supposed to help people, not make fun of people. Now you gotta wonder if they judge the people that they are supposed to help, or do they treat all the same. We are discussed, and I am so glad I do not live in Crittenden. By the way it turned out that my USSA debit card (Through the Military), wasn't my fault. I did have the money in my account. They were doing maintenance. That could have happened to anybody. Those firefighters don't deserve to wear those jackets, they don't deserve to be firefighters at all. You don't treat people like that. The driver was driving a maroon pick up truck.
