For over 10 years have been pleading the county to dig my ditches out. If I don't get them dug out, my basement will flood as the water drains into cellar. Fortunately this has not happened, only once in 40 years but the threat is always there. I use to call the office in North Lima, and they responded quickly. They no longer answer the phone and when they did, referred me to the office on Bears Den. Explained situation to woman who answered phone. She claimed she would turn over to proper department. Nothing ever happened. My request fell on deaf ears once again. I am in Springfield Township, Glacier Road at the corner of Beard. I don't know what else to do but hire a private contractor to do the job.
The “engineer” complains constantly about not having enough money yet he refuses to let nonviolent County Jail prisoners assist in filling the ridiculous number of potholes that plague our county.nHe talks the local news station into doing fluff pieces about how hard they work and how if they’re not plowing they’re patching every day all day I would love to see some results because many local roadways are covered with potholes that have been complaining about for months and have not been addressed.nI have come to the realization that Mr. Genetti is either incompetent, inept, or just plain stupid and should not be in the position he is in.

The road department gets an F for today's snow removal effort
Whoever was plowing Rt. 224 on 12/14 and was driving fast with plow down, thus, throwing debris on vehicles at stop sign.....unacceptable!
