Oh where do we begin? The facially invalid warrant? Oh no let's go with this one. Ex wife use's my personal identifying information to steal literally thousands out of my personal bank accounts (it's not about the money its about using your identity without permission). Sheriff does nothing of course. Ex wife makes maliciously false allegations and boom right in the middle of the Kangaroo Domestic Relations proceeding you're thrown into cuffs and hauled off to jail. While you're enjoying your stay for the night at the resort the ex wife goes and makes another false allegation and boom more charges!!! Just like that no questions asked. Discovery comes back and prosecutor has to dismiss bogus charges. Oh then sheriff's begins harassing my parents, 80 year old grandparents calling them to the grand jury. Heck even 98 great grandmother got herself a subpoena to the show. Oh they forgot to check and see if she was alive though whoopsie. I think the lowest they went was contacting my preacher. Then back at the Kangaroo Domestic Relations Court the ex wife has the audacity to ask what happened to our retirements savings? Duh you spent in it all in criminal defense fee's.
I have NEVER had an experience with the Sheriff's department that was negative. The deputies have always been very respectful, reasonable, and down to earth. The only thing I would like to see is Licking county become a 2A Sanctuary County. but beyond that, I have nothing bad to say about the job that Licking County Sheriff's Department does.
Horrible service I’ve came here past month every week to get my CCW and the lady in there moves slow as molasses. And will cut off accepting new Applications 2 hours before close time. Come to work and do your job not that hard.
thier dispatch department is a joke , there has been many instances where i have called to find out what was going on in my community. i understand you cant give me the details, and they are rude and all they had to say is there was a accident. with all the cop cars. whos to say it was a killer on the loose , i hae a right to know its public opinion. and refused to send me to a superviors voicemail. and wanted to argue with me that it was under a ohio state department. yet i called muskingham county sherriffs dept. and they knew what was going on in our county and gave me info. yet licking county said they had know idea what was going on, and said they have different procedures, yet i called the next day and talked to records divions, civial and they gave me the info i needed, to me you need some consistency. why is it dispatch says they cant tell me any info, yet i called civial divison and muskingham county and they gave me the info. what a crock. wish i coudl give them a zero star
